GreenStreet

For our final project in our introductory journalism class, each lab group was asked to create an online and mobile information product that could be marketed to a specific audience. This was a business start-up simulation and involved creating a business website, mobile app, merchandise, financial plan, social media accounts and posts, and various other advertising tools. At the end of the project, each lab group presented their business pitch to a panel of judges who critiqued the strategy, content, design, and business models. The goal was to create a business that had the potential to thrive. My lab decided on creating an online and mobile aggregator and online shopping tool to assist in sustainable and local shopping.
